Living and working at the University of Bath

Our mission is to deliver world-class research and teaching, educating our graduates to become future leaders and innovators, benefiting the wider population through our research, enterprise and influence.

We are a truly international community with over 120,000 alumni located in 173 countries around the globe. Nearly 30 per cent of our academics and students are international.

We’re a top destination for students in an increasingly competitive market. Our students are attracted by our academic reputation, our graduate employment record, outstanding sports facilities and the social, recreational and personal development opportunities we offer.

Our staff play a vital role in creating the University’s vibrant and innovative academic community. And we value working collaboratively with others within our global network of contacts across business, public and voluntary sectors.

There’s a real sense of community here among both staff and students, and our beautifully landscaped campus provides a safe and friendly environment to work in.
